Flights from Canada to the Cayman Islands
The main international airport is Owen Roberts International Airport (GCM) in George Town, Grand Cayman. Toronto is the only Canadian city with non-stop service. Patients from other cities typically connect through Toronto. The direct Toronto flight of about four hours is considerably shorter than flights from most other major medical-travel destinations, which reduces the risk of deep vein thrombosis during travel.

Where to Stay
Most international patients stay along Seven Mile Beach near George Town, the main hospital city on Grand Cayman. This puts you close to the Camana Bay clinic and roughly forty minutes from the Health City East End hospital. The most comfortable months for travel and recovery are December through April, the dry season with low humidity and daytime temperatures between 24 and 29 degrees Celsius. Atlantic hurricane season runs from June through November, with peak storm activity in August through October, so elective procedures are best scheduled outside the peak hurricane months. Hotel prices in the Cayman Islands are higher than in most medical-travel destinations, reflecting its position as a premium Caribbean territory.

The hospital districts of East End, Camana Bay, and Seven Mile Beach are residential and tourist-oriented, and are considered safe for international patients.
Many popular medical-travel destinations carry higher official advisories. The Cayman Islands does not. Official source: https://travel.gc.ca/destinations/cayman-islands

Costs and Canadian Wait Times
Hospitals in the Cayman Islands use bundled, fixed-price packages that cover the procedure and most associated services, giving patients a clear total cost up front. Compared with private prices in the United States, Cayman packages typically range from one half to one quarter of US figures. The real value for a Canadian patient is the combination of accredited care, English-speaking medical teams, and treatment timelines measured in weeks rather than months.
